It's been a few days since I have blogged, but I guess I haven't really been too busy. I pretty much spent all of this past week at the cottage with dad. That was kind of nice just to relax and soak up some sun. Friday night we went to uncle todd and jean's and hung out with them for a few hours. We went for a night swim in their new pool. The pool is HUGE (30ft. across) and the temp was at 86 degrees when we got in. It was gorgeous. Yesterday night (also known as last night) we went to shawn's parent's (also known as my in-laws) house and had a campfire with them and shawn's brothers. That was fun until it started to rain. Today I went to Crystal's shower. There were a lot of people there, and a TON of food. I made Uncle Tim's potatoe salad and everyone loved it. I also made the favors, which were little white buckets, filled with m&ms wrapped in gold mesh.

I am getting so excited for NEW YORK. I can't wait! I think I might start packing either tomorrow or tuesday. I always pack way early, then unpack because I packed to much, and then pack it all up again. I typically go through that routine a few times whenever I travel. This time I think I will try to pack very light though so that I can bring some stuff back for tara. I would imagine that she has far more stuff now than when she went down.

Okay, I am going to go and check out a website of NYC shows so that I can let Tara know if there is something we want to see.
