Today was a great day for me. I had Lauren and Liana with me from noon to 6pm. It was great. We started off by making some stuff to put into tara's care package (which I will send out no later than monday). Then, we same in the pool for at least an hour. That was alot of fun once we convinced Liana to swim. Once she got in the water she didn't want to get out. After that we took a walk to the park and we played there for a little while. Then, we went out on the boat with dad, patti and connor. Liana pet some sawbelly minnows that dad had bought for fishing, and then she helped connor and lauren set them free. Later on Liana decided that she wanted to go tubing. So, she got on the tube with patti, and dad started to go REALLY slow. But, the front of the tube was so bogged down with water that the front end was just sinking under. Patti and Liana fell off the tube, but luckily they didn't go under. It scared liana a bit, and she started to cry, but she was fine again once she was back in my arms on the boat. She was laughing histerically when lauren was tubing. She thought that was just the greatest. Little kids laughing is one of my favorite sounds in the whole world. Especially when they get into that uncontrollable laughter. After boating I took the kids back to frank's and phyllis's. I hated to leave them, but I will take them again another day.
When I got home I brought tara's car back to mom's because shawn's was fixed this afternoon. It took less time than we thought, so I was greatful for that. I hung out with riss for a little while. She was getting ready to go to a party. It was prom themed party, so she was going to wear a short green Jessica McClintock dress matched perfectly with a pair of converse sneakers. She is such a unique and awesome kid. I love her individuality and the fact that she has her own sense of style and a great personality. She is also funny as hell.
Well, Shawn is visiting a friend, so I think I will take advantage of this free time I once again have on my hands and go for that long awaited run that I keep putting off. Peace out girl scouts!
