Today was a sad-happy day. For starters it was my last day at work today. It's great to be done and move on, but sad to say goodbye to everyone. I really liked a lot of the people I worked with. They are all genuinely nice people. But, when it comes down to having the opportunity to not work and just focus on school, I can't really pass that up. Hopefully I will make the most of that opportunity and graduate from RIT with honors, just as I did at Brockport.

Tara flew out today. That was another high and low point. I am extremely happy for her and proud. She is such a strong, dedicated and motivated person who doesn't let anything stand in the way of her dreams. I am really going to miss her while she is gone. Not that we see eachother all that often when she is home anyways, but it is different knowing that seeing her is not an option anymore.

We saw the movie Click tonight. Great movie with an awesome message. We take for granted the things that we have until one day they are gone, and we can't get them back. If there is one thing that Uncle Tim taught all of us it is to live life to the fullest and have no regrets. "Never say I shoulda". Thanks mom for reminding me of that. That's why I wear that ring on my thumb, so that I always remember.

I went to the mall with mom this afternoon. That was nice just to do something with me and her alone. We saw Riss up there with her dad. I miss her. I feel like I don't get to see her enough. But, I plan on spending much more time with her now that I am done working. Life in perspective. Every now and then we have to stop and remind ourselves to slow down and take in the moments that take our breath away.

Hey Em,
Thanks for the blog comment. I am missing home a ton...as you know. It does feel good to realize my dreams. I think once I get settled I will feel better about being ck here.

Congrats again on your last day at work. It will be nice for you to have the time off and focus on the simpler things in life...with the exception of school. I told ya Click was great. I love the message too. I plan on taking in as much of New York as I can while I'm here...really soak all in as Uncle Tim did. I am wearing my ring on my thumb too. Thanks for reminding me about the message that lies behind it.

Anyways, I'll talk to you tomorrow. Try not to spend too much time thinking about me. I'll be fine after a day or two. Love ya tons!
