I know it's been a REALLY long time since I have been on here, but it is the holiday season, and I had so much fun tonight that I just had to blog it.
Tara surprised us and stopped by after work for a bit while she was waiting for Dave to finish his card game in Canandaigua. We had so much good old fashion fun. It was great. We ordered pizza, and then played the game of LIFE which was a hoot! After that I convinced Tara to open two of her three gifts from me early ( I was just so excited for Christmas to get here). She opened her calendar that counts down the days until Bush is out of office, and a few things for her classroom, like name tags, stickers and awards for her students. Mom said I was naughty for giving out gifts before Christmas, but that is okay. She will forgive me when she gets her gifts :).
A few days ago Tara recirculated a FUN SURVEY e-mail that Uncle Tim sent out last year. It was kind of nice to see what everyone wrote, and reflect on Uncle Tim. It's nice to reflect every now and then and remember the lessons that were taught with his passing. Life is short and it is so important to live everyday to its fullest and cherish every single moment we have with those we love.
"Christmas is not a season...it's a feeling"
I hope everyone has a Very Merry Christmas and remembers the true meaning of Christmas.
