Life is good right now. I am a very happy newleywed, we just bought our first home, and we installed our very own pool by ourselves (how exciting!). Things are really in perspective. I am lucky enough to have a husband that loves me and supports me, and is encouraging me to quit my job while I finish my master's. I have finally figured out that life is what we make of it, and we all make our own decisions. I have realized that in the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't matter what other people think or do as long as you can look at yourself in a mirror at the end of the day and see that you are truly happy.

I met a little old lady at the bank the other day. Her name is Palma and she is almost 70 years old. Palma is retired and her husband has passed away, but she has such a great energy about her. She was telling me that she went back to work. She picked up a part time job as a lunch monitor at the school. She was telling me that one of the students asked her to dance with him, and so she got up on the lunch room table and tried to teach him the jitterbug. She was so happy and so excited to tell her story. That's life in perspective. Every now and then, you have to put on your dancing SHOES and be greatful for the things you have.
