I had a nice day yesterday. Shawn called in "sick", so he was home with me all day. Mom stopped over and saw the spare room that I decorated. She loved it. After she left, shawn and I grabbed lunch and then went for a drive around canandaigua lake. We drove right along the east side of the lake, but then veered off from the lake once we got to the Naples area. We drove by cummings nature center and then down through bristol and honeoye. Without ever getting out of the car, we saw tons of deer, a young fox and a mother turkey with her babies. It was great to see the "real" country again. We haven't been down that way in so long. On the way home we stopped for an ice cream cone at Pumpkin Hook, and then headed home and played SIMS together for a few hours. It was nice to spend a little time together before I head to NYC. I am headed out in about 2 hours. I am SO excited. I just hope our plane takes off as scheduled. Say a little prayer for me. I will blog all about it when I return on sunday.

I can't wait to see the newly decorated guest bedroom! From all the talk it sounds really nice. Glad you and Shawn got to spend some time together. Driving around the lake is always fun. I do miss seeing green grass and trees all the time.
