So this morning I went back and looked at all of our first blog posts. It is pretty amazing to see how far we all have come and how much has changed. We have all entered new phases in our lives.
I would just like to point out that, ironically, after filling out that email quiz from uncle scot and saying that one of my favorite sounds is children laughing, I found a blog post from two years ago that said just that. I was talking about Liana and how she found Lauren tubing behind dad's boat to be absolutely hilarious, and I said that I just love the sound of kids laughing, "especially when they reach that point of uncontrollable laughter". It truly is a wonderful sound. It is the sound of pure innocence finding joy in the simplest things in life. A happy child just makes my heart smile. I can't wait to meet our little girl and creat so many wonderful memories with her and hear her laughter for the first time.

Mom, on one of your posts you were writing about Tara leaving for NYC and you said "I'll get through this, I always do". I want you to keep those exact words in mind as you get closer to solving the mystery of your sickness. Regardless of what your test results show, there is nothing in this world that is stronger than your dedication, persistence, and most of all your spirit.

Tara, when you started this blog, you were headed out on a new journey in NYC. You were following your dreams. You are still doing that, and you are still making a difference in the lives of many children. Those kids are blessed to have you for a teacher. You have truly embodied the spirit of Uncle Tim.

On that note, I just wanted to share my little reflection, and I will let you go to ponder that for yourselves. "Never Say I Shoulda".
